Cajella is owned and operated by Valor Apps, LLC ("Valor Apps," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access or use the Cajella website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Cajella, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, information created through your use of Cajella, and limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service.

Account Information

When you create or maintain a Cajella account, we may collect information such as your:

• Business name and business settings
• Subscription or plan information

Business Data

Cajella is designed to help you manage a product business. Depending on how you use the Service, you may enter or generate business information such as:

• Materials and stock information
• Parts and supplies
• Products and the materials and parts they use

• Machine information

• Stock of finished products
• Customer and order information
• Sales channels
• Revenue, cost, and margin information

Your Business Data remains your business information. Using Cajella does not transfer ownership of your Business Data to Valor Apps.

We do not sell your Business Data to advertisers.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information in limited circumstances, including:

Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to help us operate Cajella, such as providers that support hosting, infrastructure, email, authentication, payment processing, security, monitoring, or other technical services.

We use Umami as our website-analytics provider for the Cajella marketing website and the sign-in and registration pages, as described in section 6.

These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for us and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Cajella, Valor Apps, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

If Valor Apps or Cajella is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Cajella may offer paid subscriptions or other paid services. Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers.

When a third-party payment provider processes a transaction, payment information may be provided directly to that provider and handled according to its own privacy practices. Cajella may receive information related to the transaction, such as subscription status, payment status, transaction identifiers, or limited billing details necessary to manage your account.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cajella uses the following cookies and similar technologies.

Necessary Cookies

Cajella uses session and security cookies, including a cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery, to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. The Service cannot work without them.

First-Visit Attribution Cookie

When you first visit the Cajella marketing website, sign-in page or registration page, we may set a first-party cookie named cajella_first_touch. It remembers the campaign tags in the link you followed, the domain of the website that referred you, the first page you visited and the time of that first visit, so we can tell which channels bring customers to Cajella.

• It lasts for 90 days from your first visit and is not extended by later visits.
• It is set by Cajella only and is not shared with anyone else.
• When you register, its contents are saved to your account and the cookie is then deleted.
• It is not set when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Website Analytics

On the Cajella marketing website and the sign-in and registration pages only, we use Umami for cookieless website analytics. Umami gives us aggregate information about the pages visited, referring websites, browsers, devices and countries. It does not set cookies, and it is not used inside the Cajella application.

Maker Calculator

On our Maker Calculator we count which steps are used, such as choosing an example or printing. The numbers and names you type stay in your browser tab and are never sent to us or to Umami. The calculator keeps your worksheet in that tab, so a reload doesn't lose it, and closing the tab clears it.

In-Product Usage Milestones

Inside Cajella, we record usage milestones, for example when an account first creates a product, to understand how Cajella is used and to improve the Service. These records never include the contents of your products or other Business Data, and they are never shared with advertisers.

Maker Storefronts

Cajella runs no analytics on maker storefront pages and sets no attribution cookie on them.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain legitimate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the security and integrity of Cajella.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is maintained.

9. Account Closure and Data Requests

You may contact us to request assistance with accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and any information we are required or permitted to retain.

Account closure does not necessarily require the immediate deletion of every record. Certain information may remain in backups, security records, transaction records, or other systems for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, or other information about how your personal information is handled.

Cajella is intended for individuals using the Service for business purposes and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Cajella, please contact us so we can review the situation.

Cajella may allow you to connect or interact with third-party services. Information exchanged with a third-party service is also subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
